Who is WAFM?

The Western Australian Fishing Magazine (WAFM) is a new, fresh and vibrant bi-monthly magazine dedicated to sports fishing in Western Australia. It contains 72 pages of full colour gloss throughout with a feature poster in each issue. WAFM is dedicated to promoting the fantastic fishing and outdoor opportunities that are available in the diverse state of Western
Australia. Our policy is that the fish are the stars of the magazine and we try to promote a catch and release mentality.

What’s in WAFM?

Feature articles - each issue has least five feature articles all based on sports fishing in Western Australia. The majority of articles are artificial lure based with the occasional bait related story. High quality photography, good layout and high caliber writers all gel to create a new level of fishing magazine never seen before in Western Australia.

Tech Spec - each issue has a technical article specifically related to the technical side of fishing for example, explaining braided lines or
how to service your fishing reels. This is a very informative section and is extremely popular amongst our readers. Poster - each issue has a feature poster. It is A3 in size and one of the
most anticipated features of WAFM.

Digital Fishtography - an article dedicated to digital photography, explaining all the basics of photography and the benefits of having a digital camera. WAFM is almost entirely produced with digital photos and the purpose of this section is to help the readers become better
photographers.

Tournament section - this is the Western Australian Bream Tournament section of WAFM. All the latest competition results, scoreboards and ladder are published. This section of the magazine
is also linked to Breammaster.com, one of Australia’s most popular fishing websites. Breammaster hosts a huge forum section, an online store and heaps of hints and tips on how to catch bream.

Product reviews - this section features all the latest lures, tackle, clothing, DVDs, books and everything else that relates to sports fishing in Western Australia.
